Letter from Concerned Citizen: The Queen, Her Consort, and Their Reign of Terror

The following article was sent to Crown Prince in protest to Queen Kathy’s post about the Remnant in her paper.
So apparently the Queen is of the opinion that,
“Will they do what we have seen so many times? Will they run and hide in other alliances on a temporary basis only to emerge later as a united front? Will the make friends with others, gain their trust, and then leave them once it suits to get back together? We’ve seen this tactic before. We’ve seen alliances join others for protection only to leave them high and dry after stealing secrets and coveted alliance information.” (In reference to the Alliance the Remnant)
So wait… Exiles are hiding in other alliances and I don’t see her verbally attacking them…hmm must be because their leader is working with her consort that she do not mention their actions…
“Or will they simply stay together under a new name, as to get away from all the agreements that they have with alliances. After all, your alliance may have an agreement with Remnant, not whatever the new name of the alliance will be. A technicality, but a deal breaker nonetheless.”
From what I hear her dear consort attacked his own friends just the other day. He struck down what? 3 friends in one night? Who has Remnant betrayed? Have they broken their pacts with VC and Exodus? I think not. Nor did they break their pact with the former alliance Outlaws. And how can she condemn Vic Woo for taking 5 Remnant BS and them letting him rejoin when Kanul of Anarchy is at this moment doing the same. Why has he not been called out too? He has taken 9 BS from his own alliance in the last two or 3 days, and was welcomed back. Again she is calling out the flaws of Remnant and ignoring even worse flaws within other alliances. Where is the justice the Queen claims she stands for? Where is she getting her information because it is clearly flawed. Why is the Queen allowing one alliance to do the thing she is condemning another for?
“Have no fear, The Record will print a complete list of those Rems who were part of this reign of terror … regardless of the alliance of which they are part. And should they decide to stick together, then The Record will hope to include the new alliance’s information.”
Also, who will keep an eye on her and her consorts reign of terror? Does he not rival Remnant in BS? Does she not now have 17 CL’s? Did He not destroy a whole alliance without remorse while bottom feeding? Does she not tell her consort when her loyal subjects are coming out of protection? He seems to be picking them off right as they come out… Des she not take gold from her subjects but give no protection or gold in return? Did they both not abandon VC? So far all I have seen are 2 very selfish people who take and take and enjoy having power over the citizens of this great kingdom. All of her decrees have been to her benefit to protect her and her consort.
“The Record just hopes that none of the Remnant plans were spoiled through the release of this item. Perhaps this will cause them to be a little more tight lipped. Perhaps they are unaware of the informants in their midst … Don’t worry, Remnants, The Record will keep THAT secret.”
And I am sure the ranks of her alliances are not as secure as she believes. Trust me. They aren’t. Maybe the Queen should look inside for spies before speaking out spies in other alliances. Hmm and what does the public think of its Queen spying on them?? If she were truly a good and loved queen then why would she need spies? If you are truly the proper Queen you would love ALL of your people including Remnant.
I call for a show of support in the removal of a Queen who supports tyrants, takes from the people but gives no reward for your loyalty, abandoned her own alliance VC, and spies on her people. I call for a new Queen or King to step forth. One who can be trusted to work for the people in the name of ALL people, instead of for him or herself and their consort under the guise of it being in the name of the people! It is insulting to have a Queen who claims to be for the people but is instead using her people and their loyalty to her own ends.

Of all the claims this author makes, I am most intrigued by the claim that the Queen discloses when her subjects come out of protection. If true, that is the highest form of deception. Considering her vast amounts of loyal subjects, I am shocked. To me, loyalty to my subjects equals that to my alliance.
I am deeply troubled by this claim.
hmmm…. do you know what this sounds like? this oddly enough sounds like just another Rem supporter bitter that they have had everything but the throne…. why has this come out now? because someone has challenged the Remnants in even their AWF count… i think Rems are getting anxious, and resorting to whining again.
one strategy to beat them was MA count and bottomfeeding.. 1) they complained that MA points should be increased and 2) they had their own bottomfeeders at the same time and their strongest members bottomfed at one time.
Sabs were made to help everyone else cope with their domination and merciless reign… they are the only ones who can protect a sab- every other one keeps getting standards taken…
Rems DO VIOLATE TREATIES. i know for a fact that they did break treaties- one of them just hit over 6 mil deaths from nuke count. i know for a fact they didnt hit only enemies. exodus and VC death tolls were up there as well as Atonement ones.
they arent as innocent as this “concerned” citizen attempts to make them seem.
this is just jealousy and bitterness, and thus to be disregarded, just like Rem AWFs and nukes and kingship
no matter the attitude of the queen or her “consort”, Sam or Joe or formerly Craig, with Vic Woo, Nicho Kelly, Mike Bowman, RWG, MM, Chris MacLean, formerly brian parrish as their lapdogs is just as bad as two ppl opposing Rems for kingship and world dominance.
did i mention that the parrish bros were banned form the game for (justly or not- im not addressing that- but the premise still stands regardless) language and verbal abuse. I dont see any of the resistance to Rems getting banned or even bad-talking. the conduct on this side has been clean, and only comes into question because of the frustration of Rem members at their inability to attain the throne and defeats on the battlefield.

Rob, its my belief that one of the reasons this article came out now, is due to the hypocritical acts of the Queen, as well as a result of her bragging on her own paper. (See queen of firsts).
Theres also many other reasons as well. *
1. As for MA count. They should’ve been increased and they were. That suggestion makes the game better, not worse.
2. Bottomfeeding is a problem. Regardless of who does it, they outlined the problem, and it IS a problem.
To me, the “concerned citizen” doesn’t seem to make the Rem look innnocent at all, he/she just merely seems to point out that Rem aren’t the only ones using tactics, yet they ARE the only ones being condemned.
As for attitude, the others you mentioned don’t say they stand for peace and then go against it.
Now i don’t care if you listen to this at all or not. But i must stress the fact that i’m NOT a Rem, and i have fought them many times before. So don’t you even think about calling me a Rem supporter.
Btw, I agree with most if not all the points raised by the ”concerned citizen”. He/she has written a very nice article.

Who broke the Remnant-Sparta treaty? And if you cannot see the difference between collateral damage in a TGR strike that cannot distinguish between foe and friend, and intentionally breaking your pacts then I really am not sure what to say. One was not targeted at our allies, it was an unfortunate accident. The other was intentionally sending soldiers to invade the lands of an ally.
By the way, when you say “strongest members bottom feeding” I hope you are not talking about me. I was down in the 90s because I had zero barracks. I was getting sabb’d to death. Ask Dave The-Rave of Vanguard (Whoops, looks like other alliances can sustain a saboteur, BTW, our sab’s have lost BSs so… yeah.)
Nicho, I wasnt talking about you bottomfeeding. it is impractical to say though that every top soldier in the game got their without it though, with the exception of the originals. im not talking about sabs either.. i dropped below to 153 at one point bc i lost so many troops to you guys.
and dave hasnt lost one bc he is too low and you have his BS. you have to become weak to strike at your opponent? ie you have to lose a BS in order to fight them? I dont like that. your sabs only lost BSs when Atonement rose as well.
if you guys are going to spout of this treaty stuff with Sparta- you need to give me the names of those involved in the treaty and prove to me that anything about the Remnants was written on our homepage. I challenge that fact that it was a legitimate treaty and you guys have no grounds to say that. until you guys can prove it- Sparta did nothing wrong.
collateral damage is ok? china would have been fine if (for some reason) hiroshima and nagasaki had also hit the chinese coastal cities? china wouldnt have been mad? wouldnt have retalitated? would Russia have been happy if a nuke had ‘collaterally’ damaged Mother Russia? Britain- one of our closest allies as you know- wouldnt have complained if a nuke had hit their territory on accident? you guys are right.. might makes right. none of thes nations wouldve said a word if they had been ‘collaterally’ nuked. i rescind my point there
and dulitha, they want to point out things other ppl are doing too?
MA count to regenerate faster after getting killed by Rems and dominating AWF? that will put you right back up where you dont want to be - right where the high AWF is in the first place
who is the only one that can match the Rems? the queens “consort”. before him, only Dulitha stood, though if he wasnt bothered, he wouldnt bother. he (you lol) werent commited to fighting them. so there was only gareth, who would be attacked over and over again by vic woo- who would drop gareths standard just to attack him again. so when gareth is under protection who stands up to the big guns of the Rems? me? with my measley 114 AWF? lotta good i would do holding off MM and Vic, only to lose an invasion against bowman, and still have nicho, RWG, and chris maclean running about. how was i supposed to stop this domination? you guys didnt complain when it was just me. now that we have a chance you complain about bottom feeding. if its such a problem, really, then why do you guys allow it? “bc we already do it”? no- that would make you guys hypocrites- to complain about bottomfeeding yet let members do it. if you guys are as noble as you claim to be- i dare you not to let your alliance mates bottomfeed. i can give names if you are oblivious as to what im talking about.

this aritcle was just pointed out to me lol i was confused, so thanks for pointing that out.
and i have alot of friends, maybe its not mutual though lol so i should call them acquaintances, in Remnants. im not doubting character, im addressing the policy which they claim is innocent. they claim that we are doing the same, i say it is in retaliation and necessary if a person wants to keep a BS or wants to have fun in a game. you guys honestly cant tell me that getting pounded constantly is fun for me or any other member of this game. i cannot wait till the war is over bc im ready to move on already, but i will fight to the end
notice, also, that the only ones who have challenged the Remnant domination effectively are ‘bottomfeeders’ and one original player………
i still have trouble calling this an exploit since they complain about a monarch reigning for so long… i know alot of ppl have complained about kathy, but alot more have complained about the Remnants too. ..
yes Robert, ppl complain. its what the human race does best. no one seems to mind that ppl complain about Rem… but when rem complains about anything we are called whiners… even when a seperate group that has members of many alliances and isnt even led by Rem, but has a few Rem members, complains… Rem is blamed. NEWS FLASH: All the faults in the world are not Rems fault! Sry to burt your bubble but we are not evil, we are not the source of all evil and wrong doings in KOTW. EVERYONE has their faults. Everyone does something at one time or another that people dont like or agree with. Rem is no different, but nither is Anarchy, Atonement, Dark Knights, Camelot, Exiles and all of the other alliances. Every alliance has doen its share of “things ppl dont like or agree with.” However Rem seems to be the only one getting called on them. Why is that? Why is it that it is wrong for Rem to do all these things and ok for all the other allainces and individuals to do them? Tell me that. Tell me how one person can be severly prosecuted for an action and another allowed too go without being called on the same action? Where is the Honor in that? Thats like saying its ok for one gang to rob a bank but not any other gang because they are the top gang. It doesnt ork that way. Either apply a rule or a sentiment to ALL who do the action(s) or dont do or say anything at all. the rules apply to everyone. not just rem.
Right, that is it, I have had enough of people talking about Sparta breaking treaties.
I will say this for the last time. There is only one person responsible for Sparta breaking any naps with Rem, and that was ME and ME alone.
And that was simply because KMD were asking for help and I felt Sparta owed them for help in the Shades war. Unfortunately, this was taking place the same time that naps were being discussed with Thavidu. Also, time differences didn’t help either.
So I’m sorry, my bad, my decision, my responsiblity as admin. End of story.
Any further questions anybody has about this can be directed straight to either myself or Hope (who was in KMD at the time and fully aware of what happened as well).
Otherwise, I’d appreciate it if we could leave Sparta out of this and let Sparta rest in peace.
I’d also like to note that I don’t generally have eternal wars. I’ve fought against Royal Dragons, KMD, Exodus, Shades, Spades and Remnants. Funnily enough, I have been allied with several of these alliances too at various times.
I’m bored with war against Rem. If I fancy a change in tack and want to wage war on the monarch, what’s wrong with that? I’d say that several others had the same reaction, and they aren’t all Remnant players either, lol.
